Job summary

AMR is hiring a Full-Time Automotive Mechanic Intermediate to maintain and repair our fleet across multiple locations. You will perform mechanical and electrical repairs and respond to field breakdowns to keep our transportation services on schedule.

Candidates must have a high school diploma, a current valid driver's license, 2 years of mechanic experience, and ASE certifications (Truck or Automotive). A MACS AC certification or equivalent ASE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a current valid driver’s license.
• 2 years verifiable Line Mechanic or Mechanic Helper/Associate experience.
• 2 ASE Certifications (Truck or Automotive). Preferably Brake and Steering / Suspension.
• MACS AC Certification or equivalent ASE Certification.

Responsibilities

• Mechanic Intermediate performs mechanical and electrical repairs per policies and procedures.
• Responds to vehicle breakdowns in the field when requested.
• Utilizes parts computer program to locate needed parts and verify correct application.
• Mechanic Intermediate uses maintenance database to document all completed tasks / job assignments.
• Clearly document service paperwork as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards.
• Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
