Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking a Full-Time Automotive Mechanic Associate to maintain and ensure the safety of our fleet across multiple locations within the AMR (Abbott EMS) family. The role requires basic tool proficiency, a valid driver's license, and a high school diploma.

The position offers a $10K sign-on bonus for full-time mechanics and pays $26 per hour. You will perform inspections, repairs and document work while coordinating with Lead Technicians and other teams.

Qualifications

• Automotive experience or vocational training preferred.
• Must have a basic set of personal tools.
• Must have a current valid driver's license.
• Must have a high school diploma, or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
• Document service paperwork and OSHA safety guidelines as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company's information security standards.
• Sustain a safe and clean working environment for the ground ambulance maintenance team and ground crew.
• Use appropriate communication methods to coordinate between departments, vendors and team members.
• Work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel as well as fellow mechanics and operations team.

We're hiring a Mechanic Associate responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet across multiple locations within the AMR (Abbott EMS) company. This technician will be qualified to support our ground Operation.. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities:

• Mechanic Associate will perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
• Clearly document service paperwork and OSHA safety guidelines as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company's information security standards.
• Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the ground ambulance maintenance team and ground crew.
