Job summary

PEP BOYS / Mavis Tire seeks experienced Automotive Mechanics for full-time work in the Princeton, NJ area. In this role you will inspect, diagnose, and perform maintenance and repair services to keep customers safely on the road.

Responsibilities include brakes, suspension, oil changes, tire mounting/balancing, and completing state inspections where applicable. Competitive weekly pay, weekly incentive compensation, and ample growth opportunities are offered within the nation's largest automotive

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience and/or training.
• Must have the personal tools necessary to perform automotive and undercar repairs.
• State inspection license(s) and ASE Certifications preferred (G1, A4, A5).

Responsibilities

• Perform undercar repairs including brakes, struts, shocks, suspension, and steering.
• Diagnose vehicle maintenance and repair needs.
• Perform oil and filter changes and check fluids; replace worn or damaged parts.
• Complete state inspections where applicable; mount, rotate, and balance tires.
