PEP BOYS / Mavis Tire in Hackettstown, NJ is seeking experienced, full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform a variety of automotive maintenance and repair services to keep customers safely on the road.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 18 years of age and legal authorization to work in the United States.
• At least 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination.
• Must have personal tools necessary to perform automotive and undercar repairs.
• Preferred: ASE certifications such as Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), Brakes (A5).

Responsibilities

• Perform undercar repairs including brakes, suspensions, and steering.
• Diagnose vehicle maintenance and repair needs.
• Perform oil and filter changes and check fluids.
• Replace worn or damaged parts.
• Complete state inspections where applicable.
• Mount, rotate, and balance tires.
• Maintain Mavis standards for quality, safety, and customer service.
