Job summary

Auto Plus in Miami, FL is seeking an Automotive Mechanic to inspect, diagnose and repair tire and automotive services while delivering excellent customer experience. You will explain diagnoses to customers and coworkers and stay updated with evolving automotive technology.

The role includes mentoring coworkers and maintaining a clean, safe shop environment. Flexibility for days, nights, holidays and weekends is required, with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Requires 6 months of automotive mechanical problem-solving and repair experience.
• Section 609 Certification preferred.
• State Inspection license (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications for brakes, exhaust, electrical, cooling, suspension, and alignments.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical staff and customers as needed.
• Continuously learn new techniques to stay current with automotive technology.
• Mentor fellow technicians and maintain a clean, organized shop.
