Position: Solid Mechanic

We use top-level technology, including factory OE software, to help diagnose problems accurately on the first attempt. Continued paid training is provided. ASE certifications are desired but not required.

We own four SpeeDee Oil Change & Auto Service and Grease Monkey locations in Baton Rouge, Kenner, Metairie, and Covington, with plans to add another location by winter 2024. We are seeking top mechanics skilled in repairing brakes, steering/suspension, alignments, cooling systems, A/C, and diagnostics, including hybrid/electric vehicles. Our facilities feature the latest technology, including new factory OE diagnostic software, a brand-new alignment lift, and a new alignment machine at our Baton Rouge location.

Working Conditions:

• Materials used include automotive oils, fluids, and lubricants.
• Environment involves frequent exposure to outside weather, noise, and vehicle exhaust fumes.

Physical Activities:

• Requires good corrected vision and hearing.
• Frequent standing, walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, handling, reaching, and lifting are necessary.
