Job Title: Jiffy Lube Technician-Mechanics

Jiffy Lube Technician-Mechanics perform our Signature Service Oil Change, routine preventative maintenance, vehicle diagnostics, testing, and replacing worn and defective parts. This role is essential in our Jiffy Lube stores and critical to our success. All J-Team members receive comprehensive training from Jiffy Lube University, our award-winning program, with opportunities for up to 32 college credits through Ace Accreditation upon course completion.

Our services have expanded beyond fluid and preventative maintenance to include major and minor repairs such as tires, brakes, engine performance, suspension, and electrical systems. We are a one-stop shop, competing with car dealerships, tire centers, and repair facilities.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience in a dealership, automotive shop, tire center, or quick lube. ASE certification is a plus but not required. Must have experience inspecting, servicing, and repairing major automotive systems.

Job Duties

• Perform Signature Service oil changes
• Inspect and service fluids, filters, lights, tires, and minor repairs
• Diagnose and repair engines, brakes, suspensions, and drivetrains
• Test and repair electrical and ObdII systems

Certification eligibility opens opportunities for advancement to roles such as Service Advisor and Supervisor-Key Holder.

Physical Qualifications

• Operate shop equipment and tools
• Lift and move items up to 50 pounds
• Ability to push, pull, bend, and reach as needed
