Pomp's Tire Service, Inc. is seeking an Automotive Mechanic in Billings, MT to perform auto and light truck services and related tasks as needed. You will diagnose customer concerns and inspect vehicles, while maintaining a safe, organized shop environment.

Qualifications

• Diesel mechanical knowledge/experience required.
• Passenger automotive knowledge/experience required.
• Ability to use basic hand tools, tire tools, alignment machines, air wrench and other essential tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire alignments, brake and shock replacements and other essential services.
• Install and rotate tires; maintain and replace as needed.
• Ensure proper maintenance and care of tools and equipment.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct oil changes, tire alignments, brake and shock replacements, and other essential mechanic services
• Install, maintain, and replace tires as needed
• Ensure proper maintenance and care of tools and equipment
• Diagnose customer concerns and inspect vehicles for potential issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Additional tasks as assigned by manager

What You Need:

• Diesel mechanical knowledge/experience required
• Passenger automotive knowledge/experience required
• Ability to use basic hand tools, tire tools, alignment machines, air wrench and other essential tools
• Ability to lift, push, carry, and/or move a maximum of 100 pounds
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to bend, stretch, lift, push, pull and reach without difficulty. Frequent kneeling and bending over the back
