Pomp's Tire Service, Inc. in Wyoming, MI is seeking a Diesel and Automotive Mechanic to keep trucks and cars on the road. You will perform oil changes, tire work, brake and shock replacements, and more to ensure safe, reliable vehicles.

Qualifications

• Diesel mechanical knowledge/experience required.
• Passenger automotive knowledge/experience required.
• Ability to use basic hand tools, tire tools, alignment machines, air wrench and other essential tools.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Frequent kneeling and bending.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire alignments, brake and shock replacements, and more.
• Maintain and replace tires as needed to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
• Care for and maintain tools and equipment to ensure their proper function.
• Troubleshoot customer needs and inspect vehicles for any additional maintenance or repair issues.
• Keep the work area clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the manager to support operations.

What You’ll Do
