Job summary

ManpowerGroup, acting on behalf of its client, is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Sterling Heights, MI. You will support the maintenance department by rebuilding and refurbishing equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and installing new machinery based on blueprints.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, basic electrical systems, MIG and ARC welding, and the ability to operate Bridgeport, surface grinder, lathe, and drill press. Own tools are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic electrical systems.
• Experience with MIG and ARC welding.
• Ability to operate maintenance machinery and precision measuring equipment.
• Must possess own tools for maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Rebuild and refurbish equipment including CNCs, presses, conveyors, and transfers.
• Perform preventive maintenance for optimal performance.
• Install new equipment based on blueprints and layout schematics.
