Job summary

Ramsey Mazda in Urbandale, IA is seeking an Automotive Lube Technician. This onsite position requires flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and reports to the Service Manager.

You will perform oil changes, tire rotations, and basic maintenance, inspect vehicles, document services, and support the service team. A valid driver’s license and 1+ year of automotive maintenance knowledge are needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair.
• Hands-on mechanical skills
• Customer-focused approach
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Interest in growing your automotive service skills

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and basic maintenance services
• Inspect vehicles and identify maintenance or repair needs
• Complete work accurately and according to dealership and safety standards
• Road-test vehicles as needed to confirm service quality
• Document completed services and recommendations clearly
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and properly care for tools and equipment
• Support the service team with additional maintenance tasks as needed

• Schedule: We ask that you have open availability to support dealership operations and customer demand. You will need to be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reports to: Service Manager
