Jacksonville Kia is seeking an Automotive Lube Technician to perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks to keep vehicles in optimal condition.

You will inspect components, use hand tools and diagnostic equipment, maintain records, and deliver friendly customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Check and top off all vehicle fluids, including brake, transmission, and coolant.

That's why we are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Automotive Lube Technician to join our team!

As an Automotive Lube Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing our customers' vehicles. Your primary responsibility will be to perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and other basic vehicle maintenance services. You will ensure that vehicles are in optimal condition and provide excellent customer service to our clients.

What you'll be doing:

• Perform oil changes and lubrication services on a variety of vehicles.
• Inspect and replace filters, belts, and other components as needed.
• Conduct tire rotations, balance tires, and check tire pressure.
• Check and top off all vehicle fluids, including brake, transmission, and coolant.
• Conduct basic vehicle inspections and report any issues to the service advisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers about their vehicle needs.
• Keep accurate records of services performed.

What we're looking for:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a lube technician or in a similar role is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair.
• Ability to use hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
