Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is launching an eight-week Leadership Development Program (LDP) in an Automotive Branch. Trainees gain hands-on experience in sales, customer service, and branch operations, with a strong focus on developing leadership skills.

Upon completing the program, participants progress into an Assistant Branch Manager role. Relocation may be required across Northeast Region locations, with start of the program scheduled for 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or customer-facing roles is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop branch market plan based on market conditions and financial objectives.
• Implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Build product knowledge to provide effective customer recommendations.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly.
• Verify orders and transactions are completed and documented accurately.
• Maintain branch inventory levels and organize stock.
• Ensure compliance with safety, loss prevention, and security policies.
• Support training, development, and performance management of staff.
• Respond to and resolve customer and employee complaints.
• Assist in determining staffing needs and scheduling.
• Analyze management and financial reports including P&L.
• Assist in deliveries when needed.
