Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking motivated individuals to join the Leadership Development Program (LDP). The 8-week program provides hands-on experience in an Automotive Branch in the Northeast Region, with potential placement as an Assistant Branch Manager after training.

Program participants will gain exposure to sales, customer service, finance, and strategic business planning, with networking opportunities across Marketing, Operations, and R&D.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must have a bachelor’s degree by start of the program.
• Must be willing to relocate for this position.

Responsibilities

• Develop branch market plan based on market conditions, branch mission, and financial objectives.
• Implement business strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Build product knowledge to provide effective customer recommendations.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Verify that customer orders and transactions are completed and documented accurately.
• Maintain branch inventory levels.
• Ensure compliance with safety, loss prevention, and security policies.
• Support employee training, development, performance management, and corrective action.
• Respond to and resolve customer or employee complaints.
• Assist in staffing and scheduling.
• Analyze management and financial reports, including P&L ratios.
• Assist in making deliveries as needed.
