Job summary

Auto Systems Centers in Flint, MI, now part of the Mavis Tire family, is seeking a full-time Automotive Lead Technician for our state-of-the-art service, repair, and tire center. Join a growing team in a trusted franchise with strong support and advancement opportunities.

You will inspect, diagnose, and perform automotive services including brakes, struts, shocks, tires, and routine maintenance, while maintaining high quality standards in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of automotive repair experience or a relevant education/experience mix.
• A valid driver's license is required; ASE certification is a major bonus.
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend and lift items over 50 pounds.
• Demonstrates dependability, teamwork and a commitment to quality service.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform automotive services including brakes, struts, shocks, and routine maintenance.
• Complete state inspections and oil/filters changes.
• Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.
• Check fluids and replace worn parts.
