Job summary

Hireology in Burnsville, MN is seeking experienced Journeyman Technicians for a fast-paced high-volume shop. We offer a flexible schedule, ongoing training and plenty of work to share. You will perform repairs, test components, diagnose automotive systems, and communicate with the Service Advisor about additional service needs. ASE certifications are ideal and a clean driver's license is required; background checks will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership requirements.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, AC, etc.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional service needs and provide time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
