Job summary

Cavender Ford of OKC, part of the Cavender Auto Family, is seeking an Inventory Manager to manage the dealership's vehicle inventory from acquisition to frontline presentation. You will coordinate with managers and staff to ensure accurate listings, pricing, and merchandising while supervising the lot porter.

You will maintain records, oversee inbound/outbound vehicle flow, and drive improvements in turnover and accuracy across the lot and online listings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must have high level organizational skills; Previous automotive/inventory experience in dealership setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records for all new and used vehicles in the DMS and third-party listings.
• Track vehicle movement from acquisition to sale and transfer.
• Coordinate intake procedures and VIN decoding, photos, window stickers, and vehicle-history reports.
• Monitor reconditioning progress and collaborate with service and detailing teams to reduce time to frontline status.
• Ensure retail-ready vehicles are clean, fueled, photographed, priced, and properly displayed.
• Maintain accurate vehicle locations across main and overflow lots and off-site storage.
• Conduct regular lot audits and reconcile data discrepancies.
• Prepare reports on inventory count, aging, and pricing activity.
• Train and supervise inventory staff and drivers.
