Premier BCG of Carlsbad is seeking an experienced Automotive Internet Sales Manager to lead our dealership's internet sales operation in Carlsbad, CA. The role combines hands-on leadership with strategic CRM processes to maximize online opportunities and showroom traffic.

The ideal candidate will coach a sales team, optimize response times and follow-up, and drive improvements across key performance indicators while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive internet sales and leadership.
• Proven ability to generate appointments and convert internet opportunities into vehicle sales.
• Strong CRM knowledge and metrics understanding.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operation and performance of the dealership’s internet sales department.
• Ensure internet leads receive timely, professional and consistent responses.
• Develop and maintain an effective follow-up process utilizing phone, text, email and video communication.
• Coach the sales team on customer engagement, needs assessment, appointment setting and effective follow-up.
• Monitor KPIs including response time, contact rate, appointment set rate, show rate and closing rate.
• Maintain accurate customer information, lead sources, notes, tasks and follow-up activity in CRM.
• Review unsold customers and opportunities to identify additional sales opportunities.
• Assist salespeople with pricing discussions and deal negotiations when appropriate.
• Ensure appointments are confirmed and prepared for customer arrival.
• Collaborate with management to ensure seamless online-to-in-store transition.
• Coach on presenting pricing and vehicle proposals and communicating dealership value.
• Conduct regular coaching focused on process, performance and development.
• Review salesperson performance and develop action plans for improvement.
• Ensure leads and follow-up activities are completed and documented.
• Develop strategies to generate more appointments from CRM customers and prospects.
• Maintain high level of customer service supporting sales and profitability.
