The ideal candidate has 3–7 years of mechanical product development experience in the automotive sector, with strong problem-solving and communication skills and a readiness to travel ~10% domestically

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years of mechanical product development experience, preferably in automotive.
• Experience with Siemens NX CAD and CATIA V5 a plus.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, plastics, and high-volume injection molding.
• Experience with DFMEA, DFM, and engineering quality tools.
• Ability to interpret simulation results (FEA, thermal analyses).
• Strong verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Lead mechanical engineering activities across the product lifecycle.
• Develop designs, drawings, and specifications for new or modified products.
• Set mechanical engineering requirements based on system specs and customer expectations.
• Investigate issues and implement cost-effective design solutions.
• Perform engineering calculations and interpret validation results.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, tooling, and suppliers for production equipment.
• Develop schedules and engineering deliverables; present to customers.
• Coordinate activities across cross-functional teams to meet program goals.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and best practices.
