  • - Simplify and challenge existing designs by standardizing, modularizing, combining, or preassembling components.
  • - Optimize vehicle electrical architecture and harness designs to reduce wiring complexity and installation labor.
  • - Collaborate with electrical engineers, suppliers, and production teams to increase component reliability and diagnostic serviceability.
  • - Represent the voice of manufacturing and assembly during formal design reviews and integrate feedback into new product builds.
  • - Implement Lean manufacturing principles, including standard work, point-of-use staging, Kanban replenishment, and mistake-proofing.
**What We\'re Looking For:
  • - 2+ years of relevant engineering experience required (4+ years preferred).
  • - Strong background in automotive systems, mechanical design, or vehicle assembly environments.
  • - Proven proficiency with SolidWorks, PDM, and CAD modeling software is a plus.
  • - Solid understanding of Lean manufacturing concepts (Kanban, 6S, and Visual Management).
  • - Strong critical thinking and root-cause problem-solving capabilities.
