Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years of hands-on automotive repair experience.
• ASE certifications required within 6–12 months of hire.
• Strong knowledge of diagnostics, electrical systems, engine performance, and repair procedures.
• Ability to work independently and manage your day.
• Strong communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach hands-on automotive repair and diagnostic skills using real vehicles and shop equipment.
• Demonstrate proper safety procedures, tool usage, and repair techniques.
• Share troubleshooting strategies, customer service insights, and workflow best practices.
• Mentor students at various skill levels — from entry-level to advanced learners.
• Prepare students for industry certifications (ASE and state licensing where applicable).
• Participate in paid training and ongoing professional development.
• Work independently while receiving support from an experienced education team.
