Sun Devil Auto in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a General Service Technician to perform non-technical automotive services, oil changes, tire-related tasks, and shop support activities. You will assist customers, transport items, and maintain clean, safe work areas.

The role offers a competitive starting pay of $15.15/hr and up based on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package and advancement opportunities within the Sun Auto Network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Possess a State Inspector License or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Solid understanding of basic automotive systems under the hood and undercarriage.
• Ability to work Monday through Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and basic services under supervision.
• Notes vehicle condition and safety concerns per inspection documentation.
• Maintains shop cleanliness and overall appearance of service areas.
• Safely transports customers using company vehicle.
• Picks up parts and supplies using company vehicle; follows traffic laws.

Skills

Ability to work Monday - Saturday

Safety awareness

Physical stamina (lift up to 50 lbs)

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

State Inspector License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
