Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Mesa, AZ is hiring a General Service Technician to perform non-technical automotive services such as oil changes and tire work, drive customers, pick up parts, and keep the shop clean. The role supports vehicle maintenance and basic repairs across multiple locations, with opportunities for advancement.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license and being at least 18 years old; some mechanical understanding is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• General understanding of under the hood, mechanical and under carriage assemblies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services.
• Documents vehicle condition using the Multi-point Inspection and Repair Order.
• Maintains shop cleanliness and organization.
• Drives vehicles safely, including transporting customers and parts as needed.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections where applicable.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns.
• Able to work flexible schedules, including weekends.
• Adheres to Sun Auto’s policies and handbook.
