Job summary

Sun Devil Auto in Surprise, AZ is seeking a General Service Technician to perform oil changes, tire services, and basic automotive care under supervision. You will help drive operations, handle parts pickup, and keep the shop clean and organized.

The role requires a valid driver's license and readiness to work Monday through Saturday. Compensation starts at $15.15/hour plus benefits and growth opportunities within the Sun Auto Network.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess current, valid driver’s license.
• Possess current or expired State Inspector License or ability to obtain a State Inspector License within 30 days of hire date.
• Possesses a general understanding of under the hood, mechanical and under carriage assemblies.
• Ability to work Monday - Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services at the direction of the Shop Manager or Store Manager.
• Observes vehicle condition and points out any obvious needed repairs or safety concerns using the Multi-point Inspection/Repair Order.
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop including service area, tire racks, showroom and surrounding areas.
• Safely transports customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections following all guidelines.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports concerns to the Shop Manager or Store Manager.
