Job summary

Streamwood, IL-based Mavis Tires & Brakes is seeking full-time General Service Technicians to join our automotive service centers. We offer paid training, weekly pay with incentive, and opportunities to advance within the company, part of the growing Mavis family.

No prior automotive experience is required; we provide hands-on training and a path to grow into roles like Alignment Technician, Automotive Mechanic, and Service Manager.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Paid training is provided; no automotive experience required.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Performing flat tire repairs
• Completing oil and filter changes
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Following established safety and service procedures
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles
