Job summary

Monro, Inc. in Kings Mountain, NC seeks an Automotive General Service Technician. The role is full-time or part-time and an hourly position, responsible for basic vehicle services to Monro standards and customer-experience excellence.

You will perform tire and vehicle maintenance tasks, conduct inspections, assist with inventory, and ensure safety and quality in all duties. Training is available to grow with Monro’s brands nationwide.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Automotive training including basic car maintenance and repair or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform basic vehicle services and repairs per Monro standards.
• Tire services: wheel removal, balancing, patch/plug repairs, mounting and TPMS service.
• Lubrications, oil changes, basic maintenance such as bulb, wiper blade and filter replacements, battery testing and installations.
• Complete Monro’s Courtesy Inspection on every vehicle and communicate needed services.
• Assist with inventory management and stocking.
• Maintain store cleanliness and guest readiness per Monro standards.
• Adhere to safety standards and Monro policies and road test procedures.
• Test drive vehicles per policy, following traffic and safety laws.
• Stay current with training via Monro University.
