Job summary

Monro is seeking an Automotive General Service Technician for Store 1409 in Hickory, NC. This full-time/part-time hourly role performs basic vehicle repair and maintenance per Monro standards and manufacturer specs, delivering 5-star guest service and clear communication of issues and solutions.

Responsibilities include tire and vehicle services, courtesy inspections, inventory assistance, and maintaining a clean, safe shop. Opportunities for ASE certification and career advancement are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Automotive training including basic car maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform basic vehicle services and repairs.
• Tire services: removal, balancing, patch/plug repairs, mounting, TPMS.
• Lubrications and basic maintenance: oil changes, bulb, wiper blade and filter replacements.
• Complete courtesy inspection on every vehicle and communicate needed services.
• Assist inventory management and store duties to keep the store guest-ready.
• Adhere to safety and road-test procedures per Monro standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
