Job summary

AAA Club Alliance in Norman, OK is seeking an Automotive General Service Technician to perform essential maintenance and tire services, ensuring customers remain safely on the road. The role offers training, ASE certification opportunities, and a path to higher technician roles within a trusted automotive services network.

You will handle oil changes, fluid services, and vehicle inspections while using PC-based diagnostic tools and collaborating with a skilled team.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic tools a plus.
• Prior automotive maintenance or repair experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license strongly preferred.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with the team.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings if offered a position (background, drug, fitness for duty).

Responsibilities

• Mount, balance, and install tires.
• Perform maintenance services including oil changes, fluid flush and replacement, belt and hose replacement, battery testing and replacement, and general automotive repairs.
• Conduct visual vehicle inspections and document findings.
• Maintain and clean shop equipment, including emptying and servicing portable fluid drains in accordance with shop guidelines.
• Continuously build automotive knowledge and technical skills to support future career growth.

What We Offer

• The base compensation for this position is $14.73 - $20.72/hr. Actual pay will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location.
• Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week. Team members are required to work Saturdays as part of their regular schedule. The workweek includes one scheduled day off during the week and Sundays off. Additional schedule adjustments may be made based on business needs and approved time off.
• Training & Growth: Paid training, Paid ASE Certifications & opportunities to advance into higher-level technician roles.
