Job summary

AAA Club Alliance is hiring an Automotive Repair Technician A in Walton, KY. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles and help customers leave with confidence and peace of mind. The company covers ASE certification costs and supports career growth.

Starting pay ranges from $26.30 to $36.92 per hour, with a 30-hour minimum weekly guarantee and a productivity bonus. Full-time schedule includes Saturdays, one weekday off, and Sundays off, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience as an Automotive Technician with advanced diagnostic skills.
• ASE Master Technician or Dealership certifications preferred (or equivalent with ability to certify within 12 months - paid by AAA).
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repair work, including Engine Repair, Transmission Repair, Suspension & Steering, Brake Systems (including ABS/traction control), Electrical Systems, and Heating & Air Conditioning.
• Maintain a high level of technical expertise and continually expand skills.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer procedures or industry best practices.
• Train and mentor other technicians and service associates.
• Other duties as assigned.

What We Offer

• Starting Pay typically ranges from $26.30 - $36.92/hour flat rate. Actual pay may be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law.


• Billable Hours Guarantee: 30-hour minimum per week.


• Productivity Bonus: Opportunity to earn a $250 - $550 bonus every two weeks, based on productivity and performance.


• Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week. Team members are required to work Saturdays as part of their regular schedule. The workweek includes one scheduled day off during the week and Sundays off. Additional schedule adjustments may be made based on business needs and approved time off.


• Training & Certification Support: We pay for your ASE certifications and recertifications!

Your Impact As An Automotive Repair Technician A

What You’ll Bring

• At least 6 years of experience as an Automotive Technician with advanced diagnostic skills.


• ASE Master Technician or Dealership certifications preferred (or equivalent experience with ability to certify within 12 months - paid for by AAA).


• ASE L1 (Advanced Engine Performance) certification preferred.


• Strong communication skills for mentoring and collaborating with the team.


• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods.


• Valid driver’s license.


• Authorized to work in the USA.


• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings if offered a position (background, drug, fitness for duty).
