Job summary

Precision Tune Auto Care in Mobile, AL is seeking a General Automotive Service Technician to join our team. You’ll perform oil changes, tire work, brake service, inspections, and routine maintenance with training provided as needed.

We offer hourly pay plus production bonus, full-time employment, and benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, 5 paid holidays, and ongoing training to advance to Technician and Master Technician roles.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a valid driver's license with a clean record.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Passion for automotive repair and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and routine maintenance services.
• Rotate, repair, and install tires.
• Perform vehicle inspections and recommend maintenance needs.
• Replace brakes and perform basic brake services.
• Perform wheel alignments (training provided if needed).
• Check and top off vehicle fluids.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist experienced technicians with diagnostics and repairs.
• Communicate professionally with teammates and service advisors.
• Follow all company safety and environmental procedures.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the workday
• Safely operate customer vehicles and shop equipment
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions
