Precision Tune Auto Care is seeking a General Automotive Service Technician in Ocean Springs, MS. This full-time role offers hourly pay plus production bonuses and comprehensive training to help you grow your automotive career.

As part of a locally owned but nationally backed brand, you will perform preventive maintenance and light repairs, with opportunities for advancement into Technician roles. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in a collaborative shop

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 18 years of age required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Passion for automotive repair and willingness to learn.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and routine maintenance services.
• Rotate, repair, and install tires.
• Perform vehicle inspections and recommend maintenance needs.
• Replace brakes and perform basic brake services.
• Perform wheel alignments (training provided if needed).
• Check and top off vehicle fluids.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist experienced technicians with diagnostics and repairs.
• Communicate professionally with teammates and service advisors.

What You'll Do

As a General Service Technician, you'll help keep customers' vehicles safe and reliable by performing preventative maintenance and light repair services.

• Follow all company safety and environmental procedures

Previous automotive experience is required. We are willing to train the right candidate who has a great attitude and a desire to build a career.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the workday
• Safely operate customer vehicles and shop equipment
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions
