Job summary

Precision Tune Auto Care in Mobile, Alabama is seeking a General Automotive Service Technician. In this full-time role you’ll perform oil changes, routine maintenance, basic repairs, tire rotation, and vehicle inspections to keep customers’ cars safe and reliable.

You’ll join a locally owned shop backed by a national brand, with production bonus opportunities, medical/dental/vision insurance, PTO, holidays, ongoing training, and clear paths for advancement to Technician and Master Technician

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Passion for automotive repair and willingness to learn.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and routine maintenance services.
• Rotate, repair, and install tires.
• Perform vehicle inspections and recommend maintenance needs.
• Replace brakes and perform basic brake services.
• Perform wheel alignments (training provided if needed).
• Check and top off vehicle fluids.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist experienced technicians with diagnostics and repairs.
• Communicate professionally with teammates and service advisors.
• Follow all company safety and environmental procedures.

What You'll Do

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds

• Safely operate customer vehicles and shop equipment
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions
