Job summary

Pep Boys, now part of the Mavis Tire family, is hiring full-time General Service Technicians in the North Charleston, SC area. You will perform essential maintenance and tire services, working alongside experienced automotive professionals while earning paid training and opportunities to grow your skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on automotive environment
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service
• Previous automotive experience is a plus, but not required; paid training is provided

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Performing flat tire repairs
• Completing oil and filter changes
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Following established safety and service procedures
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles
