Pep Boys, now part of the Mavis Tire family, is seeking full-time General Service Technicians to join Team Mavis in the Columbia, SC area. You will work with experienced automotive professionals, performing tire maintenance and basic vehicle services while gaining hands‑on skills.

Paid training is provided and opportunities for advancement exist within the company, including roles such as Alignment Technician and Service Manager.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on automotive environment.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service.

Responsabilités

• Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.
• Perform flat tire repairs.
• Complete oil and filter changes.
• Check and top off vehicle fluids.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identify visible tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow established safety and service procedures.
• Help ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles.
