Job summary

Pep Boys, now part of the Mavis Tire family, is seeking full-time General Service Technicians to join our automotive service centers in the Charleston, SC area. As a General Service Technician, you will perform essential maintenance and tire services, work with seasoned automotive professionals, and gain hands-on skills with opportunities for career

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on automotive environment.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork and quality service.
• Prior automotive experience is a plus; paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs.
• Completing oil and filter changes.
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids.
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Following established safety and service procedures.
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles.
