Job summary

Asbury Automotive Group in Sandy Springs, GA is seeking a General Accountant to ensure accuracy in postings, perform reconciliations, and support reporting and audit activities for Floorplan, Reserve, and related accounts.

The role requires prior automotive experience, at least two years in staff accounting, and an accounting degree or equivalent. Standard hours are Monday through Friday with some Saturdays possible, and comprehensive benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Prior Automotive experience desired.
• Minimum of 2 years in a staff accounting role.
• AS/BA/BS in Accounting desired.

Responsibilities

• Post, code and review daily bank activity and lender funding notices.
• Review and post system error Repair Orders and Parts Invoices.
• Post maintenance items and ensure accurate posting.
• Reconcile Floorplan and Loaner Floorplan statements.
• Reconcile Retail Delivery Report (RDR) monthly.
• Post Manufacturer and Floorplan related payments and incentives.
• Purify receivable accounts and assist in special projects as needed.
• Perform related duties to support the organization’s mission.
