Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with full-cycle responsibilities.
• Experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or senior accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting/ERP systems.
• Automotive dealership industry experience preferred.
• Experience with Tekion accounting software highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform and review monthly bank reconciliations, investigating discrepancies.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and maintain accurate records.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management.
• Review transactions to ensure GAAP compliance and policy adherence.
• Maintain accuracy of accounting data within Tekion and systems.
• Lead monthly close process with journals, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly statements and management reports.
• Analyze results, identify variances, and propose improvements.
• Assist with audits and supporting schedules and documentation.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow activities.
