Job summary

MarketSource is seeking an Automotive Technical Advisor to serve as the liaison between dealerships and OEM programs in the assigned region. The role focuses on buyback reductions, repeat repairs, and improving fixed operations performance.

You will provide technical assistance, lead dealer service personnel to higher service/parts performance, analyze repair shop processes, and manage escalations while traveling to dealerships as needed. Strong communication and data reporting are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• Master Technician Certification or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of automotive experience
• Dealership fixed operations experience preferred
• Valid Driver’s License
• Occasional travel required

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and fixed operations consultation to dealer service personnel, fleet, and commercial customers
• Motivate and lead dealer service personnel to higher levels of service and parts performance
• Initiate resolutions on current unresolved issues to maximize dealer competitiveness and customer loyalty
• Analyze and suggest repair shop process improvements with proactive business planning focused on the customer
• Manage STAR escalations and high buyback risk vehicles as identified in SalesForce
• Provide in-dealership technical assistance and dealership consultation on repair orders and service agreements
