Job summary
HTC Global Services seeks a Product Engineer specializing in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with expertise in automotive exterior lighting systems. This role leads multidisciplinary technical effort across mechanical, electrical, software, systems, and optical engineering.
The engineer will support the design, development, integration, validation, and launch of exterior lighting systems and components, including headlamps, taillamps, CHMSL, fog lamps, and license plate lamps.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years in automotive lighting design, development, or launch.
- Experience with software development for automotive electronics and CAN-based testing.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver lighting systems at the vehicle level.
- Write and validate embedded C/C++ code for LIN/CAN integration and diagnostics.
- Manage supplier deliverables and hardware/software interfaces.
- Perform thermal FEA modeling and electrical stress testing.
- Lead design reviews and develop ESOWs and DVP&Rs.
