Job summary

HTC Global Services is seeking an Exterior Lighting Product Engineer to drive design, development, and validation of automotive exterior lighting systems across mechanical, electrical, software, and optical disciplines.

The role involves CAD development, optical engineering, injection molding, lab diagnosis, design release activities, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver robust lighting solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in automotive lighting design or similar components.
• Experience with CAD, CAE tools, and lighting systems.

Responsibilities

• Support design, development, integration and validation of exterior lighting systems.
• Perform laboratory diagnosis and root-cause analysis of lighting issues.
• Use CAD to develop lighting concepts and fixtures in CATIA/3DX.
• Design optical systems for small lighting applications.
• Lead design reviews and DFMEAs and manage release activities.
• Travel to supplier sites in North America as needed.
