Job summary

Texan Dodge, a Ken Garff Automotive Dealership, is seeking a Sales Receptionist to deliver excellent customer service and handle front-desk duties with professionalism.

Ideal candidate has receptionist experience in a dealership, strong computer skills, and a valid driver's license. The role requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication, and schedule flexibility in a fast-paced automotive setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Previous Receptionist experience; automotive dealership experience strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong computer skills including Inventory Control software, Internet, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• A valid in-state driver’s license and a good driving record per company standards.
• Schedule flexibility to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones professionally within three rings and transfer calls.
• Take messages when needed and greet walk-in customers promptly.
• Provide friendly, professional service and resolve customer inquiries.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance at all times.
• Call customers when license plates arrive and log them accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Here's what you'll be doing:

• Answer phones in a professional manner, within three rings, and transfer customers promptly to appropriate destination
• Takes messages from customer when desired person is unable to be reached or at customer request
• Greet and accommodate walk-in customers promptly; provides timely, friendly, professional service
• Provide excellent customer service by listening to customer inquiries and requests, asking questions to identify needs, and resolving customer concerns
• Maintain a professional appearance always
• Call customers when license plates come in and keep a license plate log to ensure accuracy
• Other duties as assigned
