Job summary

Ivy Tech Kokomo is seeking a part-time evening lab technician to support the automotive program, maintaining classrooms, equipment, storage space and assisting in course maintenance and development for online and face-to-face content.

Hours will be up to 20 hours per week at $15.00 per hour. The role includes assisting the instructor, maintaining materials and equipment, and creating Word and Excel documents to aid course maintenance as directed.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma is required for this position.
• Experience in an automotive setting preferred.

• Maintain a safe organized and clean classroom and lab.
• Check availability of materials and equipment function for proper operation.
• Order supplies, materials & parts for equipment as directed when needed.
• Assist Instructor in the lab when needed.
