Job summary

Manheim, a Cox Automotive company, is seeking an Estimator II to provide accurate reconditioning estimates for vehicle details and mechanical work. This on-site role requires attention to pricing, timelines, and cross-team communication to initiate and manage approved work orders.

Eligible candidates will have a high school diploma or GED with 3 years of related experience, or a higher degree with relevant experience. Healthcare, vacations, and 401(k) benefits accompany a strong team culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide estimation services for an assigned auction area.
• Provide accurate reconditioning estimates for body, detail and mechanic services.
• Communicate estimates to maintenance, reconditioning and other teams to initiate work.
• Work with procurement/purchasing staff to ensure accurate pricing of parts and supplies.
• Monitor repair status, timelines, transportation and customer communications for approved estimates.
• Keep records of repair/reconditioning details and complete paperwork.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in Safety Excellence activities.

Job Title

Estimator II - Estimator/Auditor II - part of the Vehicle Operations group at Manheim, a Cox Automotive company. Must work at a specified Cox location (no remote option). No travel. No work shift day.

Compensation

Hourly base pay rate is $20.00 - $30.00/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

• Monitors repair status, completion timelines, transportation and customer communications related to approved reconditioning estimates.
• Keeps records of repair / reconditioning details and completes necessary paperwork.
• Visibly demonstrates safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such.
• Actively participates in and supports all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
