Cox Automotive—via Manheim—seeks an Estimator II to provide precise reconditioning estimates and coordinate with maintenance and purchasing teams. The role requires attention to timelines and accuracy in communications with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide estimation services for an assigned auction area.
  • Provide accurate reconditioning estimates for body, detail and mechanic services.
  • Communicate estimates to maintenance, reconditioning and other teams to start work.
  • Coordinate with procurement/purchasing to ensure pricing of parts and supplies.
  • Monitor repair status, timelines, transportation and customer communications for estimates.
  • Maintain records of repair/reconditioning details and complete paperwork.
  • Follow safety procedures and participate in Safety Excellence activities.

What You’ll Do
  • Provides estimation services for an assigned auction area or areas.
  • Provides accurate reconditioning estimates for body, detail and mechanic services.
  • Communicates estimates to maintenance, reconditioning and other teams as required to initiate work.
  • Works with procurement / purchasing staff to ensure accurate pricing of parts and supplies required by estimates.
  • Monitors repair status, completion timelines, transportation and customer communications related to approved reconditioning estimates.
  • Keeps records of repair / reconditioning details and completes necessary paperwork.
  • Visibly demonstrates safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such.
  • Actively participates in and support all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence
Who You Are
  • Minimum: A high school diploma/GED and 3 years of experience in a related field; or any degree/certification beyond high school and 1 year of experience; or 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills..
