Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in the United States seeks a content specialist to ensure the Electronic Product Catalog (EPC) remains accurate and complete by reviewing new content with QA tools and coordinating with internal teams.

You will analyze discrepancies reported by users of the eCatalog system, implement updates, and develop value-add content including digital assets, features and benefits, specifications, cross references, and keyword aliases to support product listings.

Qualifications

• Strong automotive product knowledge and repair procedure understanding.
• Thorough knowledge of automotive parts cataloging or counter experience.
• Proficient with SQL, MySQL and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Desirable: degree in business or computer science or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in eCatalog content processing and digital image editing.
• Understanding of Auto Care Association content standards.
• Practical SQL work experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain EPC accuracy by analyzing new content for accuracy and completeness.
• Analyze reported discrepancies and implement content modifications or additions.
• Communicate outcomes of actions to discrepancy reporters.
• Develop and enhance value-add content for products in the eCatalog database.
• Create digital assets, marketing copy, features/benefits, specs, cross references, and keyword aliases.
• Collaborate with trading partners to validate content and communicate results to management.
• Ensure pending line changes are represented in the eCatalog before store release.
• Create EPC content for new product lines when vendor content is unavailable.
