Job summary

Venteon is seeking an Engineering Manager in the Lima, OH area to lead process engineers, tool room and industrial engineering teams. The role ensures tooling programs deliver quality and quantity that meet customer expectations, with authority over reporting duties and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Engineering management experience in an automotive supplier is required.
• Metal stamping and tool & die expertise is a must.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Journeyman's Card in Tool & Die preferred.
• Excellent managerial and verbal/written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of plant-wide engineering and manufacturing functions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct the efforts of process engineers, tool room and industrial engineer team members to meet customer expectations.
• Establish duties and responsibilities for positions reporting directly to the Engineering Manager.
• Lead continuous improvement programs and interface with customers, corporate, and plant engineering to resolve quality or quantity concerns.
• Select and develop qualified team members to ensure quality of technical goals.
• Support other departments with engineering and tooling assistance as needed.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, ergonomics, and safety for personnel equipment.
• Oversee tooling and equipment quality/efficiency, plant engineering, maintenance, and containerizing.
