Mondo is seeking a creative Email Designer to support a leading automotive brand’s marketing team in Camden, NJ. This design-focused role emphasizes visual storytelling and brand initiatives, with an emphasis on creativity over extensive HTML development.

The ideal candidate will design engaging B2C emails, translate briefs into polished templates, develop graphics, and ensure responsive layouts. Collaboration with internal designers and marketers is essential.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of professional design experience with email marketing
• Strong Adobe Creative Suite proficiency (Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Portfolio of consumer-facing email designs and digital marketing creative
• Basic HTML knowledge to review templates and troubleshoot minor issues
• Ability to develop creative concepts from high-level briefs
• Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Design visually engaging B2C marketing emails for launches and campaigns
• Translate briefs and direction into polished email designs aligned with brand guidelines
• Create original graphics and illustrations to refresh templates
• Build and customize email templates using drag-and-drop tools
• Apply best practices for responsive layouts, readability, and CTAs
• Conduct QA/testing to ensure rendering across devices/clients
• Troubleshoot design/formatting issues with basic HTML when needed
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and marketing stakeholders
• Incorporate feedback and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
• Own projects from initial design through final QA
