Job summary

Capgemini Engineering, a world leader in automotive engineering services, is seeking a Mule Engineer to support electrical systems for prototype vehicles in Auburn Hills, MI. You will develop network diagrams, gateway requirements, schematics, and BOMs, while aiding ECU integration and prototype builds.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, review packaging, and troubleshoot electrical/electronic issues on real-world prototypes, leveraging Teamcenter for BOM data and documentation.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years' experience reading and developing vehicle network diagrams, electrical schematics, wiring documentation, and bills of materials.
• Working knowledge of ECU integration, gateway systems, wiring harnesses, and automotive networks.
• Experience supporting prototype vehicle builds and troubleshooting electrical/electronic issues.
• Working knowledge of Teamcenter or a comparable PLM system for design and BOM data.
• Ability to prepare documentation and execute assigned integration tasks with guidance.

Responsibilities

• Develop vehicle network diagrams and gateway requirements.
• Support ECU integration for prototype vehicles.
• Create electrical schematics, wiring solutions, and bills of materials.
• Prepare MOV instructions and manage iSpeed activities.
• Conduct packaging reviews and support prototype builds.
• Troubleshoot prototype electrical and electronic issues.
