Electronic Systems Engineer - 2 POSITIONS: in Saline, MI

1) BODY ELECTRONICS ENGINEER

• The primary responsibility of this role is vehicle development for Body Electronics.
• Vehicle application of Body Electronics (Body ECU, AC ECU, etc.)
• Plan structure and design of Body Electronics through target setting, packaging and style feasibility while ensuring regulatory compliance
• Manage part list and issue internal design documents including engineering change instructions and wiring specifications

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent)
• 5 years or more as an electrical design engineer
• Experience in vehicle electronics development
• Experience in CATIA

2) WIRE HARNESS ENGINEER

Description

• The primary responsibility of this role is to design wire harness components and package wire harnesses for deployment on responsible vehicles.
• Responsible for the design and application of electrical components across multiple vehicle and mobility platforms including routing of wire harness, and development of related components to ensure quality, performance, cost, and timing requirements are met for each electronic system.

Responsibilities

• Design packaging structure, prepare drawings, plan and manage schedule for complex engineering problems.
• Deep understanding of wire harness development and/or manufacturing process.
• Experience in design of electrical systems/parts, including wire harness routing, wire specification issuance or vehicle electric architecture.
