Job summary

Ancora Education is seeking a Program Director to oversee all aspects of management and administration for the assigned program, including teaching, advising, development, and extern site management. The role emphasizes student progression, data analysis, scheduling, and maintaining accreditation standards.

The position requires leadership, licensure where applicable, and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders while ensuring high-quality instruction and continuous program improvement.

Qualifications

• Certification or higher degree in the corresponding program from an accredited institution.
• On-site program head requirements with qualifications for each position.
• Current, valid licensure where appropriate.
• Meets state and accreditor requirements to qualify as instructor.
• 1 year of management experience.
• Understanding of adult learning principles and ability to teach/train adults.
• Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication with diverse groups.
• Ability to drive/travel to extern/clinical/job sites.
• Administration experience within an education program.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a conducive learning environment for students and faculty.
• Identify, hire and train qualified faculty.
• Promote integration of learning philosophy and classroom principles.
• Lead faculty development efforts including orientation and ongoing training.
• Provide timely faculty mentoring, observations, coaching and feedback.
• Maintain course schedules and assign faculty workloads.
• Coordinate equipment, training aids, and materials to support curriculum and learning objectives.
• Ensure ongoing program accreditation compliance.
• Coordinate relationships with extern sites for clinical experiences.
• Advise students on academic performance and progression.
• Evaluate program outcomes and implement improvements.
• Maintain curriculum in accordance with standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
